We push further the concept of sandal , elevating them to Lacour realty
it's all about vision , craftsmanship and material
The sole has 2 layers of vegetable tanned leather of 5 mm thickness and one layer of Vibram lightweight rubber , all glued together and sanded down in a rough shape of the sole.
The parts for the insole are the cutted, which is made out of 3 layers:
one of veg tanned 2 mm leather,
high density foam for added comfort
and the top layer of leather in which alligator inserts are stitched.
All these layers are then sandwiched and stitched by hand .
The uppers are made using high quality white calf leather and alligator leather which are finished with an applied white paspol at the edge for a more refined edge trim and completed with a white calf lining.
To complete the process uppers are stitched
The sandal gets assembled by hand and the sole will be glued to the insole.
Another trimming and sanding process will take place i order to obtain a smooth finish on the edge of the sole and a final layer of natural wax will be added on the edge of the sole with a hot iron in order to give them a natural awesome shine and protect the sole .
